We welcome religious groups from all faiths and have two on-site chapels that can be used for all types of religious retreats and pilgrimages. Like all groups, your religious retreat is welcome to book all facilities in DCU as well as enjoying the peaceful grounds to pray, meditate and relax. Our two chapels can be found on our DCU All Hallows Campus and DCU St Patricks Campus and are available for exclusive hire subject to availability.
All Hallows Campus
At our beautiful All Hallows Campus you’ll find the impressive All Hallows Chapel. Built in 1896 in the Gothic style, the chapel is adorned with stained glass windows, animated statues, and a mosaic sanctuary floor. The magnificent Rose Window’ dominates the organ gallery over the entrance, making it a focal point. There is seating for 220 in carved solid oak stalls with 3 tiers on either side facing each other in the main body of the Chapel. The chapel has welcomed retreats, religious ceremonies & celebrations, concerts, plays, choral recordings and many film productions.
St Patricks Campus
In our nearby St Patrick’s Campus, a 3km walk from our main Glasnevin campus, you’ll find The Chapel of ‘Our Lady Seat of Wisdom’ set against beautiful surroundings. This Chapel was built in 1965 under the direction of the Architect Andrew Devine. The stonework of the Altar and the Lectern is the work of Michael Biggs whose work is well known throughout Ireland. The distinctive windows are designed by Gabriel Loire. Bookings are accepted in the chapel for all religious events and ceremonies.
There are dozens of spiritual and religious sites in Dublin for your tour group to enjoy.
